Which side of the road do I drive on?+
Cyprus drives on the left. Most hire cars are right-hand drive, and road signs are in Greek and English. Take the first few roundabouts slowly. It settles quickly.
What do I need at collection?+
Bring a full driving licence held for at least two years, a passport or ID, and a physical credit card in the main driver’s name for the refundable deposit.
How much is the deposit?+
With Essential cover, the typical hold is €650–€1,200 depending on car category. It reduces with added protection and is released after the vehicle check, subject to your bank’s timing.
Can young drivers rent a car?+
Drivers aged 21–24 may rent selected groups with a young-driver fee of €12 per day. Drivers must hold a licence for at least two years.
Are child seats and additional drivers available?+
Yes. Child seats are from €5 per day, capped at €45 per rental. An extra driver is €6 per day with Essential cover and included in higher protection options.
Can I collect after a late flight?+
Yes, flight-number bookings are monitored. A late collection fee of €35 applies from 23:00–06:00 unless included in your selected service.
Can I take the car to Northern Cyprus?+
No. Our rental cover applies within the Republic of Cyprus only. Always confirm permitted areas before crossing any border.
